What if my item isn't on CEX?
We'll tell you "Not on CEX" rather than guess. You can then scan the barcode and we'll fetch a real eBay sold-price for that exact item. The eBay number is based on real recent transactions for the matching barcode, not a fuzzy title search.
How accurate are the prices?
CEX cash values are the exact figure CEX UK publishes on the day. Our match accuracy is around 95%+ on games, DVDs and Blu-rays after months of tuning. eBay numbers are filtered to remove bundles and outliers, then summarised by median price + count so you can see how confident the figure is.
Do I have to sell to CEX?
No. We're not affiliated with CEX. The cash and voucher prices we show are CEX's standing trade-in offers; the eBay numbers tell you what you'd realistically get listing it yourself. You decide which channel suits each item.
Is there an app to install?
No native app. Pricesweep runs in your phone's browser, which means no App Store gatekeeping and no Apple/Google taking a cut. On iOS, tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen" for an app-like icon. Android Chrome will prompt you to install on first visit.
